Rothbury & SALB Area Dispersal Zone

Between 10:00 on 7 March 2026 and 10:00 on 8 March 2026, a dispersal zone will be active under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Police officers and PCSOs will have powers to:
• Direct individuals or groups to leave the area
• Take under‑16s home or to a place of safety if needed
• Seize items linked to ASB (e.g. alcohol, drug-related paraphernalia)

This is a temporary measure to prevent crime and protect the community.
Arrest will only occur if someone refuses a lawful direction.

• Call 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress
• Speak to local officers if you have concerns or information
